The two busker festivals Aufgetischt St.Gallen and Buskers Chur are organized by the association "Aufgetischt". We book completely different acts for these two festivals. Applying for both might increase the chance to be chosen for one.

Standard set lenght is 45 minutes. As for shows with a fixed duration, the schedule will be adapted accordingly.

The groups usually perform 2-4 sets of approx. 30-45 minutes per day.

Artists/groups will change locaction after each set (rotational system). For artists/groups that cannot move freely (due to a long set-up for example), the promoter will make special arrangements. Would you need a fixed performance spot?

If you need a fixed performing spot, we require any possible additional information. Do you need anchor points? Are you able to perfom on grass? Do you need volunteers for set-up/dismantling? How long... etc.?

The artists/groups will be playing acoustically or slightly amplified (amps, small PA or similar). Major amplification systems and PA systems are not allowed. Max. sound level is below 93 dB(A). The organiser does not provide any equipment but he is able to rent some equipment if needed. The costs are charged in full to the artist (Comment: Prices for rentals in Switzerland are very expensive). Do you use amplification?

If you carry any amplification, we require as detailed information as possible regarding type, label, model etc.

I would need to hire the following equipment (instruments, amps / PA etc.) locally. Please send me an offer.

All locations are equipped with an umbrella (3,5 x 3,5m) or a small tent (3 x 3m). The show can be performed in the rain (with umbrella/tent).

Unfortunately, the show cannot be performed in the rain. But I/we could offer to perform a shortened indoor-show (approx. 20-30min).

The artists will be provided with free meals on both festival days. The promoter will not pay for catering for accompanying persons. According to prior agreement, the groups‘ companions can also be catered at a fee of CHF 30.- per day.

Maximum contribution to travel/transport: CHF 500.- per solo artists or CHF 800.- per group. We reserve the right to prefer artists/groups with lower costs.

The promoter will bear accomodation expenses in single-/double-/twin- or shared hotel rooms (upon availability) for the festival days. If you necessarily have to arrive the day before (due to a long journey), the extra costs will be shared. The artist/group must bear CHF 40.- per person/night. The promoter will not pay for accomodation for managers, friends or family. However, we will gladly help with the arrangement of additional accomodation.

After submitting the application, you will receive a short automatically generated confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive it, the delivery did not work or you gave the wrong e-mail address. In this case we ask you to check the application and send it again. Please note that the sending or the upload of the application can take some time and the attachment may be a maximum of 64MB.
